The construction industry emits a lot of CO2. People are trying to reduce that number by recycling construction waste or waste from destruction of older buildings. It is e.g. concrete that is crushed and made to new roads or steel that is remelted. Some places you also reuse bricks from old houses to build new houses. There is a lot of potential in the recycling of construction waste, because 30% of all waste is construction waste.
