The resources of our planet are not infinite. When you sort e.g. plastic instead of burning it, you save energy for production of new plastic, and you save the ressources of our planet.

Reduced CO2-emission

When you sort, your waste is not just burned. If you put plastic in household’s waste, it gets burned. The burning does warm houses and produce energy, but it also releases CO2 and contributes to global warming. If plastic is sorted, it will be melted to new plastic and the CO2-emission is reduced.
